Large detached house. Partly mid C17, enlarged probably early C18.
Random coursed rubble stone, stone slate roof hipped at south-east
corner, 3 stone stacks. L-shape range extended to north with clear
line in stonework, and to west stepping down in height twice.
Mostly 2 storeys and attic. East side has blind wall on north
addition, two 2-light stone mullion and transoms with square
hoodmoulds. Ground floor has one 2-light and one 3-light on ground
floor. One 2-light on south front with scattered fenestration and
door of 6 fielded panels to right. Rear has scattered
fenestration, mostly leaded casements with timber lintels, and one
2-light stone mullion and transom on oldest section. Three small
gabled dormers at rear. Single storey lean-to in angle.
