Field barn. Early C19. Coursed and squared local quarry rubble
stone with large quoins, Cotswold stone slate roof. 5-bays with
central opposed projecting cart entries. King-post trusses with
additional small arched braces below tie-beams. 3 trenched purlins
with curved wind bracing to lowest purlin across cart entries.
Pitch-hole on west gable, 8 small square vents on east gable, 2-
tiered slit ventilation on north wall and to right a double vent
from one stone with 2 very small arched openings. Cart entries
have original double timber doors. The barn is in very good
condition and completely intact except for now collapsed small
lean-to on south wall, (August 1984).
