Incorrectly shown as St. Ringers Cottage on O.S. Map. Former
farmhouse, now house. C15, C17, altered late C20. Timber-
framed, painted brick nogging or rendered infill, thatched roof.
Two bays, one room deep, 1½ storeys. Gable towards entrance gate:
cruck truss, 2-panel high framing ground floor, paired 2-light C20
casements; similar to upper floor, under collar. Right return,
light framing for half-bay on left, heavier to right with long
brace sill to wall post; single-light window. Roof steps up at
junction between bays: framing 3 panels high, angle braces to
wallplate; three 2-light casements, swept dormer, chimney on ridge
just short of right gable. Timber-framed cross wall inside
relates to framing to far end of house: only surviving cruck is in
gable. Forms group with outbuilding (q.v.).
