Large house. C18, considerably enlarged second quarter C19, mid-
late C19 minor addition, minor alteration mid C20. Brick, of
various bonds, slate roof. Three window, 2-storey front, single-
storey, single bay wing; to rear roof slopes down over 2½-storey
earlier house, with rear wings. Garden, entrance front: central
single-storey Tuscan porch, sides infilled with glazing C20.
Either side a tall, 2-light casement window with lights over,
intersecting tracery, marginal lights, louvred shutters. Plain
string course. First floor three 16-pane sashes, rubbed-brick
heads, reveals faced wood with shaped blind-box heads over. Plain
string course and parapet over, stepped parapet gables with gable
chimneys on ridge. Projecting, single-storey room on right end,
16-pane sash left return, French doors on front, pyramid roof.
