House, dated 1789 at rear. Red brick on dressed stone plinth, C20 interlocking tile roof, flanking brick chimneys. 3-bay front, the centre bay slightly advanced. Brick eaves cornice with corbelled dentils. Late C19 sashe windows without glazing bars, in slender moulded architrave frames. All windows are set in original openings, square to second floor, and retain original shaped plaster lintels with oval fan motifs. Central door in wooden doorcase with architrave frame, fluted frieze on fluted brackets, and moulded pediment. Door is approached by 5 stone steps, concreted over, with fragmentary railings. A C19 wing, at right angles, extends to the rear. (Photo May 2008).
