A terrace built for the Yarborough family c.1780. 3 storeys and attics in red
brick with slate roof with 4 simple dormers. Dentil brick eaves cornice.
14 windows in all, near flush frames with gauged flat arches, painted, some have
been reglazed with glazing bars. Wood doorcase with architraves, fluted
friezes, centre tablets with 'Adam' urns, enriched pediments on consoles,
Gothick fanlights. 6-fielded panelled doors, wrought iron guard rails, stone steps.
A later C19 shallow bay window has been added at ground floor to each house.
These repeat the ornamental detail of the doorcases. No 61 has an original
staircase, possibly by William Middleton.
