1793-4, by William Middleton. 3 storeys in red brick with plain tile roof and
light cornice in stone, to parapet. 4 windows wide and 1 on return angle. Near
flush frame sashes without glazing bars. 1st floor cill band. Wood doorcase
with slender Doric applied columns, plain entablature, shaped bracketed cornice
and pediment. Patterned radial bar fanlight. This house is built onto the
North Bar and forms an important adjunct to it. The building occupies an angle
site and is slightly L-shaped where it joins on to the group of buildings
between it and St Mary's Manor and Church.
