Farmhouse. Mid-late C18 with later alterations and additions. Red brick.
Concrete pantile roof. 2-room, central entrance-hall south front with wing
to rear centre and outshuts in angles. 2 storeys with attic, 3 bays,
symmetrical. Central C20 part-glazed panelled door and 3-pane overlight in
wooden architrave beneath rubbed-brick flat arch with raised ashlar
keystone, flanked by C19 four-pane sashes in enlarged openings beneath
stucco flat arches. First floor: 4-pane sashes in original openings with
rubbed-brick keyed flat arches, sills. Cogged brick eaves cornice.
Tumbled-in brick to raised gables. Partly-rebuilt end stacks. Interior:
open well, closed string staircase with corniced handrail, column newels and
column-on-vase balusters with square knops; 6-fielded-panel doors in
architraves. Ranges adjoining to rear right are not of special interest.
