Threshing barn with horse-mill adjoining. C16 barn with later walls;
renovated and south gable wall rebuilt in 1985-6; C19 horse-mill. Barn,
timber-framed with brick walls, thatched roof. Horse-mill in brick with
pantile roof. 5 internal bays to aisled barn, with opposed waggon entrances
to central bay; horse-mill adjoining to north-west. Waggon entrances with
double board doors; flanked by pairs of slit breathers. Half-
hipped roof. Gable ends have pair of slit breathers, central board door to
north end with similar door above; C20 casement and board door at south end
below tumbled-in brick. Horse-mill, 6-sided, with stone-coped brick piers
and later infilling; machinery removed. Interior of barn: posts on C20
rebuilt pedestals, with braced ties to wall plates, braces to tie beams and
arcade plates, and 2 tiers of collars with clasped purlins. Arcade plates
have stop-splayed scarf jonts with vertical bridled butts and face-keys. A
rare survival with framing largely intact. Scheduled Ancient Monument,
