Little Bannal's

House. C17, altered and extended late C20. Timber-framed with rendered infill
on rubble base and plain tiled roof. Two framed bays aligned north-west/south-
east; external rubble chimney with detached brick stack and circular bread oven
situated at south-east end. Single storey and attic with dormers. Framing:
three panels from sill to wall-plate, collar and tie-beam end trusses with
two struts below collar and V-strut above. South-west front elevation: there
are three 2-light C20 casements on the ground floor, two gabled dormers with
bargeboards and finials and 2-light C20 casements and a gabled timber porch
to right of centre, also with bargeboards and a finial and enclosing a ledged
and battened door. At the north-west end is a small single-storey C20 wing single-storey C20 wing
with a 2-light casement in its south-west elevation. There is also a large
C20 extension to the north-east, L-shaped in plan, and with the present main
entrance in its north-west elevation.
