Circa 1795 with additions and alterations. Attributed to Michael Searles.
Centre block of 3 storeys and basement, 3 windows; with side wings of
2 storeys and basement, 2 windows, slightly set back on 1st floor.
Multicoloured stock brick with stuccoed ground floor. Stone mutule
cornice and blocking course to centre block, parapets to side wings.
Gauged, flat brick arches to recessed, replaced sash windows with
glazing bars on lst and 2nd floor. Arcaded 1st floor centre with
impost string. Ground floor round arched sash windows with glazing bars.
Later half glazed central double door with patterned radial fanlight
Along ground floor and projecting at end. Doric colonnade with enriched
columns, triglyph frieze and mutule cornices. Six steps at eitherend.
These, terrace, and upper balcony formed by colonnade, have wrought iron
railings. Bowed wrought iron lampholders over steps.
