Farmhouse. C16 or early C17, altered mid-C19 and C20. Sandstone rubble,
rendered, C20 concrete tiled roof. Possibly former longhouse aligned
north-east/south-west, facing south-east, left of centre entrance with
stack backing onto wide through-passage, further stacks at gable ends.
C20 rear lean-to extension. Single storey and attic. Four C20 dormer
windows with 2-light windows; ground floor, one 3-light casement window
to left and one 3-light and one 2-light window to right of low wide door-
way with wooden frame and battened door. Interior reveals cruck trusses
exposed at north-eastern end and remainder covered. Interior largely
altered during mid-C19. Included for the survival of C16 framing and
plan-form.
