Circa 184O-45 pair of modest red brick houses, part of an irregular terrace
comprising Nos 50 to 58(consec). Two etoreya, 2 bay fronts symmetrical overall
with coupled doorways to centre. Eaves band to gable and slate roof; corniced
brick chimney stacks, tall to right. Two windows each on flint floor and one
on ground floor, rather narrow 3 x 4 pane saches with flat gauged rubber brick
arches and stucco sills. Coupled doorways have engaged very slender Tuscan
columns supporting deep stilted entablature and common cornice. Doors of 6 moulded
anti fielded panels, rectangular fanlights with marginal glazing, set in panelled
reveals. Tunnel passage entrances each end of elevation with gauged rubbed brick
arches.
