Circa 1830-35, row of 4 stucco faced 2 storey houses grouped as pairs, part of a
Regency-style crescent comprising Nose 41 to 49(consec). Two bay fronts with
coupled doorways. Plinth; first floor sill band; shallow bed mould to bracketted
wood gutter eaves. Slate roofs with tall stucco chimney stacks on party walls.
Traces of grooved coursing to ground floors. Doric pilasters separate first floor
windows, 2 to each front with broader window centred on ground floor and flanked by
incised panels. Revealed glazing bar sashes set in segmental arched panels. No 46
has mid C19 canted bay. The arched entrance recesses are grouped in pairs and each
contains inner fluted arch on flattened fluted Tuscan columns, door of 5 fielded and
flush panels in panelled reveals and soffit with looped radial pattern to fanlights.
Paired, arched tunnel passage entrances to centre of row and at each end.
