The Limes, 3 Groby Road Anstey

C19 pigsty and stable extended from right end with a cobbled yard. The pigsty and stable have been converted into a scullery. The traditional diamond pattern of ventilation holes no doubt services the tumble dryer. Recessed doorway and window. Other blind niches in the brickwork indicate the previous life of the building. On the gable behind, the granite rubble shows the original height of a one storey wing. (Photo Sept 2013).
