A fleur de lys is there to blazon a third son of gentry. To Darling Heard, third son of john Heard by Frances his wife and Grandson of John Heard Senior. d. 21st Feb 1735 aet 22. Epitaph: I in this world but little pleasure found/ My Afflictions here did very much abound/ To see my friends a Journey long I took/ But when I came unto my Native place/ The Lord was pleased that there I might not stay/ Tho in my youth, I here must lie/ until the Resurrection day.
