House, formerly used as laundry for Donington Hall. Early C19. Whitewashed
roughcast, hipped C20 tile roofs, central roughcast chimney, small brick
chimneys to each side wing. Central 2-storey, 2-bay house with single-storey
3-bay side wings. Flat eaves. Central house has 4-pane sashes and rear door.
Side wings have narrow arcaded passages to front with wide segmental arches.
Left arches have brick footings with stone coping between. Rear wall of left
passage has 2-light wooden casement and 2 flush-panelled doors, that to right
with fanlight. Right wing has later C19 and C20 casements and French doors.
Right wing formerly used for washing, left wing for ironing.
