Remains of gypsum kiln. Early-mid C19, part demolished and now enclosed by later C19 walls, C20 roof and C20 garage door. Red brick wall with three fireholes tapering back into hillside to hidden flues that must run up cliff-face. Enclosed area in front of fireholes has cellar. Other walls are mostly of later C19 brick, the end adjacent to The Cottages with fragments of earlier dressed stone wall. This end also has C20 garage doors.
