House. Late C18 incorporating parts of C17 buildings. Mid C19 and late C19-C20
extensions to right. Refurbished 1984. Red brick on stone plinth, tiled roof,
central rendered chimney. 2 storeys, attic and cellar; 2 bays. Narrow brick
band courses at first and second floor levels. 2-light horizontal sashes with
glazing bars, those to right bay renewed 1984, all with segmental heads. Cellar
opening to left. To right of centre is a 2-panelled door with 4 curved stone
steps, high segmental arch, and C20 segmental wooden hood on brackets. 2-light
attic casements in gables. At right end is a lower C19 bay with a late C19-C20
half-timbered gabled projection to front, formerly a dairy. This has flush-
panelled door and C20 single light in left return, and horizontal sash and vents
in gable end. Rear has one C17-C18 3-light window with wooden mullions.
Interior: right bay of older block has stop-chamfered spine beam and fireplace
lintel. In line with chimney is a winder stair. Old 2-panel and board doors.
