Cottage. C17, refronted and slightly extended to right late C18-C19. White-
washed brick front, timber frame with diagonal braces and whitewashed brick
infill to rear. Thatched roof, half-hipped to right, with central brick
chimney. One storey and attic, 2 bays. 3-light barred wooden casements, the
larger ground floor windows C20 with transoms and C20 board shutters. Older
casements above are set in thatch eyebrows and are slightly corbelled out over
ground floor walls. C20 board and stud door to left. Narrow extension of
whitewashed brick to right, with low single light. Rear has central entry to
lobby in line with chimney. Internal cross walls are timber framed, and left
bay retains original stop-chamfered spine beam and joists. Floor in right bay
concealed. Winder stair in lobby.
