Village bakehouse, now disused. Early-mid C19. Red brick, Swithland slate roof
renewed C20. One storey. To left are blind walls of large oven. Right bay has
horizontal sashes with segmental arches of header brick, the front window of 2
lights, boarded up, the rear window of 3 lights. C20 door with C20 flat brick
head to right. INTERIOR: large oven is intact, with wide low dome. Stoking
door below, small oven opening to right, altered copper to left. All proving
racks have been removed.
