House. Probably late C17, altered. Painted brick and stone rubble with
thatched roof. One storey with attic. Main part of the house of 2 bays
separated by a stone buttress. Windows have plain reveals. Eyebrow
dormers light the attic. Door, at left, has plain reveals. Above it under
the eaves is a small window which has rectangular leaded glazing. The
cames intersect at the head to form gothick tracery. Adjoining to the
left is a former farm building, now part of the house. It is of painted
stone on the ground floor and rendered above. At the left is a buttress.
To its right is a window with plain reveals and external stone steps to a
1st floor doorway. Chimney to left of main doorway. Interior: not
accessible at time of survey (April 1987). Said to contain chamfered
beams, 2 inglenook fireplaces, and boarded doors (Provisional List).
