House. C17. Brick in irregular bond and squared sandstone with slate
roof. 2 storeys, 3 irregular bays. Windows are mullioned with plastered
surrounds and are recessed on the ground floor. The right-hand bay is of
stone on the ground floor and has a drip course which extends over the
doorway to its left. The window is of 8 lights. It is painted and appears
to be of stone. The ground-floor window of the middle bay is of 4 lights
and has a brick hood. In the left-hand bay is a 6-pane sashed window with
plastered surround. The 1st floor windows are of 5 lights. The studded
door with strap hinges has a chamfered surround with canted head.
Chimneys at left and between 1st and 2nd bays. Gables coped, the right-
hand one with a finial. Interior: not accessible at time of survey (March
1987).
