Mounting steps. Early C19 or earlier. Coursed rubble sandstone
walling with forms support structure for flight of five ashlar
sandstone steps, the base step now partially sunk into adjacent
C20 tarmacadamed footway. Mounting platform to head of flight of
steps formed by massive square sandstone flagstone, the same
depth as the flight of steps. The steps are built against, but
are not attached to the boundary wall of No 116 Station Road.
