Row of 3 cottages, c.1800. Watershot coursed squared stone blocks with
large quoins to all 4 corners; stone slate roof with 2 chimneys on the
ridge, one at right gable. Double pile plan, each cottage single fronted.
Two storeys; each cottage has doorway at left, with plain stone jambs
semi-circular stone head with keystone and imposts, recessed tympanum;
on each floor one sashed window. Rear has rectangular casements (with
large heads to ground floor) and small stairlights under the eaves, each
has small lean-to brick porch of later date. Listed as unusually intact
example of this period, forming harmonious group.
