House. Late C18th, extended to south early C19th. Coursed watershot stone
with slate roof. 2 storeys. Original house of 3 bays with chamfered quoins
and end stacks. Ground floor possibly altered, with front door with plain
stone surround and iron porch to south and 2 windows with plain stone
surrounds and modern casements. 1st floor windows sashed with glazing bars
in plain stone surrounds. Southern extension of one bay has tall plain
stone surround with shorter sashed window with glazing bars within. On
the 1st floor is a sashed window with glazing bars and plain stone surround.
Gable has stack, and eaves overhanging on square brackets. Later extensions
at rear, with tall stair window with small panes at rear of main house.
Inside is an open string stair with turned newels, swept handrail and 2
slim turned balusters to each tread.
