House, c.1830, attributed to Websters of Kendal. Punched limestone ashlar
with hipped slate roof. West front symmetrical, of 2 storeys with attic
and 3 bays. Windows sashed with glazing bars in plain ashlar surrounds.
1st floor sill band. Central gabled attic dormer. Portico of 2 Tuscan
columns and 2 Antae, with plain frieze, square-sectioned cornice, and
blocking course. Chimneys on ridge at each side of central bay. Lower
later C19th extension of 2 bays to the left.
