GV II

Lodge to Leck Hall (q.v.), early C19th. Squared sandstone rubble with
stone slate roof.L-plan. 2 storeys. Front wall has 3-light mullioned
window on ground floor with a hollow-chamfered surround with rounded
corners. The 1st floor is blank. At the left is a one-bay gabled
projection with a similar window on the ground floor. The 1st floor window
has had its mullion removed but has a similar surround. Purlins project to
carry the roof at the gable. To the right of the gabled projection are 3
separate grouped chimney shafts. The right-hand gable wall has a 1st floor
window surround similar to the other 1st floor window. On the ground floor
is a door with plain stone jambs, segmental arch, and hood. The door has
vertical battens and studs.
