Terrace of 8 houses. 1830s. Stone with slate roof, 3 storeys
and basement. 5 bays to each house, 1st 3 and last 4 bays
break forward, last 4 bays form return to No 1 Percy
Street. Rusticated ground floor. Sill bands to 1st and 2nd
floors, top frieze, modillioned cornice and blocking course.
Hipped slate roof, stone chimneys. Windows to 1st floor have
eared architraves, those to entrance bays and end bays have
friezes and cornices, those to entrance bays have consoles.
Most windows are sashed with glazing bars. Entrances have
Ionic porches, those to Nos 4, 6,12 and 14 are paired. Iron
railings to areas and steps have decorative heads. Iron
balconies to 1st floor windows. No 6 has door replaced by
window and is one property with No 4 and No 1 Percy Street.
No 8 has part of balcony missing, as has No 14. No 16 has no
front to balcony. No 1 Percy Street has bowed end bay and
curved angle to right return. 1st floor windows have iron
balconies, that to end bay has consoled cornice.
