Laithe-house. Late C18 with C20 alterations. Hammer-dressed
watershot stone with graduated stone slate roof. l-bay, 3-
storey house with former laithe to right, C20 extension to
left and former dairy wing to rear. Quoins, coped gable with
kneelers and gable chimney stack. Bay 1 has 4, 5 and 4-light
recessed flat-faced stone mullion windows. Winnowing door
(now front door) in bay 2 has corbelled lintel and a C20
window above. C20 garage doors to right 5-light windows to
rear, the one above the cart entry of C20 date. The cart
entry which is now glazed has a segmental-arched head. 2-
light gable windows. Included for group value.
