Farmhouse. "EKE 1710" on door lintel but appearing largely
to date from the late C18. Hammer-dressed watershot stone
with graduated stone slate roof. 2 rooms on each floor with
loom workshop on the second floor and gable entrance porch.
The south side has quoins, 3 and 4-light recessed flat-faced
mullion ground floor windows, similar 3-light on first floor
along with a re-located 4-light double-chamfered mullion
window, and three 3-light flat-faced windows to workshop
level. Triangular-headed lintel to porch and inside porch.
The rear retains some of the earlier masonry which includes
a 2-light double-chamfered mullion window and a similar one
which is hewn out of one piece of stone. Two 3-light
workshop windows. A flight of stone steps against the gable
give separate access to the workshop. Gable stacks one of
which is rendered.
