House. "1639" on datestone but appearing to date from mid
C18 with considerable restoration of 1900. Watershot squared
rubble with graduated stone slate roof. 2-bay 2-storey house
with later wing to rear right and lean-to to rear. Quoins
and projecting plinth. Central door with square-cut
surround. Three 2-light double-chamfered cavetto-moulded
stone mullion windows on the ground floor only one of which
retains its original form. Applied hoodmoulds. 2 similar
altered windows to first floor. Bay 1 is gabled and has a
ball finial whereas bay 2 has a coped parapet. Blocked door
to left and rear. Altered double-chamfered mullion windows
to rear otherwise openings appear to be of 1900. Gable
chimney stack. Interior much altered.
