1817. Originally the stables and coach-house of the demolished Nuttall Hall. Stone.
Two storeys. Six sash windows, the end ones in low, recessed sections, the mid two surmounted
by pediment (enclosing carved cartouche by Thomas Vicar) and with roundel
between them. Later central rectangular bay with three windows and doorway on ground
floor, closing former arched entry. Arched doorway with quoining on each side of
bay (providing entrance to nos. 3 and 7). Doors to nos. 1 and 9 at ends of range have
stone surrounds and pediments (that of no 9. destroyed). Moulded and arched panels
to doors of nos. 1, 3 and 7. First floor sill band. Eaves gutter cornice.
