By John Garrett. Inscribed "Wesleyan Chapel" in relief capitals below eaves cornice
and dated 1874 on central blocking course section with flanking scrolls above cornice.
Ashlar, 2-storey front. 4 arched openings, inner ones on ground floor doors, outer
ones in narrow advanced wings with pediments over pilaster strips. Inner bays on
ground floor have wide pilasters with horizontal rustication supporting entablature.
Keystones, sill-bands and other mouldings. Central steps. Of value as peripheral
item in group of listed buildings in centre of Ramsbottom.
