1844-50, by I and J P Holden. In early English style. Chancel, vestry, nave, south porch, west tower and small recess spire. Lancet windows. William Grant of Nuttall Hall paid for organ chamber, organ and choir stalls in 1870, and largely paid for Palmerston aisle, with stained glass window.
