Cottage. c1700. Timber framed in most part with rubble stone plinth and red
brick and mud nogging and red brick. Corrugated iron roof covering thatch in
parts with 2 brick ridge stacks, that to left rendered. Brick coped left
gable and weather-boarded right gable. l 1/2 storeys of 2 3-light casements,
that to right with cambered lintel. 2-light eyebrow dormer and small 1-light
on 1st floor. Centre and left are 2 1/2 bays of large panel timber framing. On
left end a 2-light casement with 2-light horizontal sliding sash over, both
with cambered lintel. Door to rear, with further timber framing. Inside are
chamfered beams, 2 inglenooks, 4 bay single-purlin tie-beam truss roof and
wide floor boards.
