GV II
Gardener's bothy. Circa 1900. Red brick in Flemish bond. Clay plain tile roofs with rendered end gables. Brick axial stacks with stone caps with cornices and tall yellow clay pots.
PLAN: L-shaped on plan with entrance in the angle.
Domestic Revival style.
EXTERIOR: Single storey. South west front: wing on right with rendered gable supported on small shaped timber brackets over 4-light casement with glazing bars, porch in angle with flat canopy supported on bulbous Tuscan columns and pilasters. The left [NW] end has large brick gable with moulded stone coping and cornices to corner piers and large round arch window with keystone and multi-pane window-frame with fanlight. The south east gable end is similar to that at front.
INTERIOR not inspected.
A good example of a late Victorian estate cottage in the Domestic Revival style.
