Farmhouse. Mid C18, with C19 additions. Coursed and squared
ironstone and brick, with limestone ashlar dressings, with slate
roofs. Rebated eaves, single brick lateral and ridge stacks. 3
storeys, 3 bays. L-plan. Front has central plain stone doorcase
with 6 panelled door, fanlight and hood on curved brackets,
flanked by single large glazing bar sashes. Below each sash, a
re-used 2 light mullioned cellar opening with ovolo moulded
mullions. Above, a central glazing bar sash flanked by single
slightly larger glazing bar sashes. Above again, central blocked
opening containing a sundial, flanked by single 8 pane glazing
bar sashes. The top floor openings have keystones. East gable
has to right, a casement on each floor. Rear has to right, 2
gabled wings, with a C19 porch in return angle with an ogee
headed doorway. To north, a single storey C19 rear addition
with, to east, a large casement with segmental head.
