GV II
House, formerly associated with a forge. Early 19th century.
Chequered red and grey brick with plain tile roof. 2 storeys and
attics on galletted stone plinth. Plat band in English bond. Short
length of dentilled plat band over door. Flat eaves soffits. Brick
end stacks. 2 hipped dormers. Regular 3-window front of small
recessed 12-pane glazing-bar sashes with thick glazing bars. 2
similar ground-floor windows, that to left enlarged later. All
windows have segmental heads. Central recessed boarded door under
segmental head. Rear lean-to. Interior not inspected.
