Farmhouse. Early C15 with late C16 or early C17 alterations and
early C19 facade. Timber framed, weatherboarded, with plain tile
roof. Open hall of 2 unequal-length bays with storeyed bay to
right. Two right end bays rebuilt in late C16 or early C17.
Late C16 two-bay rear wing to right. 2 storeys on stone plinth.
Left gable end jettied. Hipped roof with gablet to right and
three-quarters hip with gablet to left. Ridge stack towards left
end. Multiple brick ridge stack to rear wing. Irregular
fenestration of five 16-pane glazing-bar sashes. Two 24-pane and
one 16-pane glazing-bar sashes to ground floor. Panelled door
under flat hood on brackets, up one step towards right end.
Interior: exposed timbers. Frieze windows with ovolo-moulded
mullions to left gable end on ground floor. Posts with long,
cut jowls. Octagonal crown-post with scroll moulding. Hip at
left gable end supported on very short upper crucks.
