Farmhouse.C16 possibly earlier, enlarged C17,restored late C20. Rendered over rubble,
asbestos slate roofs, concrete tiles at rear, gablet of south wing visible to right
of large stone stack with brick cap, brick stack left gable and centre of south
wing. T-plan 3 cell and cross passage, possibly open hall house, enlarged with
kitchen wing at rear. One a half storeys, 3 bays all late C20 fenestration on
facade, gabled dormers rising from below eaves, ground floor 3-light end bay left
raking buttress, entrance flanked by 3 and 2-light casements, panelled early
C19 door. Right return: remains of 4 light chamfered mullioned window in gable
end; left return gable end small 2-light chamfered mullioned window and 3-light
ovolo moulded mullioned window; a similar C17 window on west front of rear wing
overlooking courtyard. Interior: rear wing only sighted, chamfered beams with step
and runout stops in kitchen, adjoining room with copper and bread oven.
