Cottage. Circa 1840. Random rubble local stone, ashlar quoins and window surrounds,
slate roof, overhanging eaves and decorative bargeboards, decorative ridge
tiles, brick stacks gable ends. Plan: 2-cell and cross passage.
Picturesque Tudor style. Two storeys, 4 bays, gabled tops to outer bays, 3 and 4-light
casements with astragal leading,hood mouds, single storey gabled porch, Tudor arch
head doorway, original door. Similar in style to Springfield House
(qv) and built by the Adairs as part of the former Heatherton Park estate.
