Farmhouse. Late C16, altered probably in C17, and modernised. Rendered over local stone, slate roof, three chimneys rendered to centre, brick gable end chimneys, right one early. Three cell cross passage plan. Two storeys, four windows; modern casements, raking buttress to left centre; C20 gabled porch to right of centre.
Interior, cross-passage behind large stack. Hall has plank and muntin screen with arched doorway and hollow-chamfered beam, latter with evidence of spine beam, probably removed when floor altered C17. Inner room also has hollow chamfer beam; kitchen chamfer beam with pyramid stop; roof over central first floor room had plastered, and whitewashed underside; timber frame wattle and daub partition extends up above hall-screen, principals said to be upper crucks.
