GV II

House, now shop and house. Early /mid C18 remodelled in late C19. Flemish bond
red brick; gabled old tile roof; brick rear stacks. L-plan with rear left wing.
2 storeys and attic. 4-window range. C20 door and shop windows to left of
segmental-arched carriageway entry with plank doors. Gauged brick flat arches
over first-floor 6-pane sashes with thick glazing bars. 3 late C19 gabled
dormers. Cross-gabled stair-turret attached to mid/late C18 two-storey rear
wing: of English bond brick rendered to left and rebuilt in C20 brick to rear,
gabled old tile roof and brick ridge stack. Interior not inspected but likely to
be of interest.
