Lodge to St. Audries (qv), now dwelling. 1850, enlarged mid C20. Architect John Norton, Sampford Brett red sandstone,
Bath stone dressings, quoins, V-shaped tiles, coped verges with knellers, decorative finials at gable ends, stack on
rear elevation renewed in brick. Plan: gabled block with gabled crosswing facing South entrance in angle on West
front. Tudor Gothic style. West front - one and a half storeys, 1:1 bays; all windows Tudor arched heads with
horizontal glazing bars, left gable end 2-light casement under hood mould, right gabled dormer rising from eaves,
single light, ground floor left crenellated 5-light canted bay, single light right with Tudor rose stops to hood mould,
central entrance porch, gabled centre carrying Acland-Hood coat of arms, Tudor arched doorway ledger and plank door.
Right return at one bay, 2-light casement under hood mould in gable end, stone slated 5-light canted bay below.
