Milestone, built into boundary wall, Four Acres hotel

Milestone. Possibly, C18. Ham stone with cast iron plaque bolted on. Stone slab 450mm wide and about 200mm thick,
standing about 1.1 metre high, with triangular top, the point rounded. Plaque about 275mm wide and 200mm high, with
shouldered curved top, reading in simple incised lettering 'III YEOVIL'. Probably erected by the Yeovil Trust, who
maintained this road between 1753 and 1849. One of a set still surviving.
