One of terrace of six houses. Dated 1887. Ham stone cut and squared, with ashlar dressings; plain clay tiles with
moulded ridge in continuous roof; brick chimney stack. 2-storeys, 1-bay. Chamfered mullioned windows, 2-light below
string course, 3-light above, divided into small panes; exposed rafter ends; left of window segmental arched doorway
with boarded door having upper part glazed. Interior not seen. A remarkably well detailed terrace with deliberate
'spoiled symmetry', in the style of Norman Shaw, and prophetic of the early 'Garden City' houses; an early and little
changed example.
