Detached house now subdivided. Possibly C17, remodelled in C18 and C19 and extended early in C20. Ham stone ashlar;
Welsh slate roofs between stepped coped gables to steep pitch; brick chimney stacks. Two storeys with attic, 6 bays.
Ovolo-mould mullioned windows in wave-mould recesses, fitted with horizontal-bar lights having 4-centre-arced heads;
3-light, to upper bays 1, 2, 3 and 5, and lower bays 1, 3 and 5, 2-light mullioned and transomed to upper bay 4 and a
singlelight below a 2-light to bay 6; labels shared across bays 1 to 3 both levels, across upper bays 4 and 5 and lower
bays 5 and 6: to lower bay 2 an ovolo-mould flat-arched doorway with deep recess, fielded panel reveals to C19 door. In
north gable are three 4-pane sash windows with simple architraves, and in south gable a moulded single-light under
label to attic, and a 2-light and a 3-light to first floor sharing a label, below being a flat-roofed bow-fronted
extension with a 2-light casement and plain door to east. Interior not seen, but reported is a through-passage plan 2
rooms deep, with rear extension originally single-storey, now raised: front rooms have fielded panelling, window
shutters. 9 stone fireplace of C17 or C18, and collar truss roof; some blocked windows in north wall now masked by no 5
j,', which is dated 1741). (VAG Report, unpublished SRO, 1978).
