Farmhouse. Mid-C18. Red brick with plain tile roof. 2 storeys and attic.
Plat band, eaves band, toothed-brick eaves cornice and parapeted gable ends
with stone coping and moulded kneelers. Integral brick end stacks and central
gabled eaves dormer with 2-light wooden casement. 5 bays; segmental-headed
wooden and metal cross windows (some with C20 wooden cills). Central boarded
door with 2-part rectangular overlight. Evidence of former gabled or
pedimeted porch, hood or doorcase (see break in plat band). Late C20
glazed lean-to porch. Circa 1900 two-storey lean-to addition to right.
Rear of 3 bays with plat bands, central staircase window, further blocked
windows and blocked central door. Pairs of attic windows in each gable end.
Interior: C18 dog-leg staircase with closed string, turned balusters, turned
foot newel and moulded handrail (applied half-balusters to square half-landing
newels). C18 door with 2 raised and fielded panels and H-and L-hinges.
