House, now shop and dwelling. Late C18 front to C17 core.
Brick; plain tiled gable roof with steeper pitch to right;
brick lateral stack to left. 3 storeys, attic and cellar;
2-window range: late C19 plain sashes under segmental arches,
to 1st and 2nd floors; semicircular light with old glass in
moulded case, to gable. C20 panelled door, and overlight,
under moulded wood flat hood on moulded pilasters. Left
returned side shows probable timber-framing. INTERIOR: late
C18 winder staircase to 2nd floor. Attic: exposed steep
pitched trusses with V struts, and chamfered purlins. 2nd
floor: exposed moulded ceiling frame, and stop chamfered
posts. 1st floor: moulded ceiling frame; part-glazed panelled
doors; late C19 firegrate. Ground floor: chamfered and moulded
ceiling beams and posts; stone fireplace with moulded jambs,
and timber lintels. Cellar: stone-lined.
